Instructions:
Extract.
Open SSELauncher.exe, double click "Counter-Strike 1.6 LastCS" for the classic version or "Counter-Strike 1.7 LastCS" for the enhanced version.
Right click on them and select "Create desktop shortcut" to have fast launch icons on your desktop.
The project is not yet finished and occasional crashes, hangs and bugs might occur with the enhanced version. I will try to make a new release each time a better and more stable version is published.
If the game doesn't start, install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable x86 & x64 from the "FIX MSVCR140 ERROR" shortcuts. You can also try installing the latest version of Microsoft .NET Framework if it still doesn't work.
If you get low fps, try disabling features in options - > renderer tab. If that doesn't help you can still play the modded version with all of its features except for the graphics by:
- running CS17GraphicsOnOff.bat from inside the main folder
- running "1.7 Graphics On/Off" shortcut from inside SSELauncher.exe
- open Half-Life\cstrike\metahook\configs\plugins.lst and change Renderer.dll to ;Renderer.dll, then save the file. Or run the "1.7 Graphics On/Off"
Your antivirus might report a false detection on MetaHook.exe and/or some of its plugins. Whitelist them if that happens. The project is open-source and clean and can be found at github.com/hzqst/MetaHookSv
Recommended system specifications for the enhanced version: CPU - at least dual core with 3.5ghz speed or better; GPU - github.com/hzqst/MetaHookSv/blob/main/docs/Renderer.md#gpu-requirement
You can also play through Steam by launching the STEAM shortcuts instead but DO NOT PLAY ON VAC PROTECTED SERVERS as there is a chance you may get your account VAC banned.

Extrage.
Deschide SSELauncher.exe, da dublu click pe "Counter-Strike 1.6 LastCS" pentru versiunea clasica sau pe "Counter-Strike 1.7 LastCS" pentru versiunea imbunatatita.
Click dreapta pe ele si selecteaza "Create desktop shortcut" ca sa ai iconite pentru lansare rapida pe desktop.
Proiectul nu este terminat si se pot intampla crash'uri, blocari sau probleme ocazional cu versiunea imbunatatita. Voi incerca sa fac o noua lansare de fiecare data cand o versiune mai buna si stabila este publicata.
Daca jocul nu porneste, instaleaza Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable x86 si x64 din scurtaturile "FIX MSVCR140 ERROR". Poti de asemenea sa incerci sa instalezi ultima versiune de Microsoft .NET Framework daca tot nu merge.
Daca ai fps mic, incearca sa opresti functii in tab'ul options - > renderer. Daca nu ajuta, poti juca in continuare varianta modata cu toate caracteristicile in afara de grafica prin:
- ruland CS17GraphicsOnOff.bat de inaintrul folderului principal
- ruland scurtatura "1.7 Graphics On/Off" din SSELauncher.exe
- deschide Half-Life\cstrike\metahook\configs\plugins.lst si schimba Renderer.dll in ;Renderer.dll, apoi salveaza fisierul.
Antivirusul tau s'ar putea sa raporteze o detectie falsa pe MetaHook.exe si/sau unele din plugin'urile lui. Adaugati in lista de exceptii daca se intampla asta. Proiectul e deschis si curat si poate fi gasit la github.com/hzqst/MetaHookSv

Poti de asemenea sa joci prin Steam lansand scurtaturile STEAM in schimb dar NU JUCA PE SERVERE PROTEJATE VAC pentru ca exista o sansa sa iei ban VAC pe cont.
