DOWNLOAD Counter-Strike 1.7 LastCS [Updated 2025.05.19]

I did that and i find it working normally on a zombie server, but on the " CS2.LASTCS.RO # WAR3FT # RESPAWN & FUN MODE" CSDM server and another CSDM server that i tried it doesnt work.As in the menu flickers or disappears from the screen when i select an option.Dont know what it might be.

EDIT: The menu selecting the guns, all of that works but when pressing "M" and then choosing something,that is the part that does not work

EDIT: I guess it might be the servers problem as i am getting this in the console when selecting options: "

yes that is the servers' fault. badly written plugins.

Hi Grand Master di57inct, please include the water shader in Trinity Render.dll as provided in CS1.6Redux by UGZ on youtube, as an option.
Because in many vanilla maps, the water shader in Meta Render (provided in lastCS1.7) is not quite reflective, also the reflection is not distorting like Trinity Render does.
Aside from that, everything is perfect imo.

metahooksv has been updated a few times since the one in this release, including improvements to the water shader and reflectivity, but it has a lot of problems so I'm waitinf for them to be fixed before i update. you can try replacing just the shader yourself with the updated one. i think metahook's water looks better than trinity's.

I am having an issue with CS 1.7 on a specific server
The server is **Zombie Plague 4.3 [Resident Evil]** ~> 46.174.48.101:27015
And the error is in the attached image
Is this fixable (without disabling the renderer)?
If yes then what do I do?

bsp means map maybe it's corrupted or something. try deleting it from cstrike_downloads and downloading it again. otherwise you can try updating metahooksv yourself.

latest versions of metahooksv have the same water reflection shader...which means no realistic water reflection in most maps, such as de_torn de_chateau de_aztec

I have seen these attached pictures...
Don't trust these screenshots. In most maps that I have, the water is almost transparent. Completely unlike those pictures.

it depends on each map water's properties. you can report an issue and state that they should look closer to the vanilla version(color, transparency, etc) and attach some screenshots

Unfortunately, no. This issue seems to be quite hard solve. If they focus only on Svencoop, it will be even harder.
Maybe I should contact them on github.

Hi, i have a problem i installed all Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable x86 & x64 and latest version of Microsoft .NET Framework but still i click on game and nothing just a window that says when done playing game press ok or done but game isn't launching. Maybe its because i have bloated windows ?? Thanks for answer.

try disabling the graphics. if that works it means that you have an incompatible gpu. you can also try updating your gpu driver and make sure the game is using the dedicated gpu if you have one. what is your windows version and specs?

U mean renderer, yes i tried disabling it but still nothing. Actually it worked before but it was full windows 10 and now i have bloated (mean shortened) version, gpu drivers is up to date, specs: gt730 and intel pentium g3220. I don't actually need renderer cause its being laggy, i just need ragdoll and also can i add ammx plugins to it? And as i remember there was an annoying chat in the middle of screen and is there way disable it. thanks for reply

yes, you can install amxx plugins. it comes with 1.8.2 preinstalled.
for the chat, you can try replacing "ChatScheme.res"(or something like that) in both cstrike and cstrike_hidpi with the default ones from the metahooksv page.

Nah imma non-steam user (cant afford it). But like normal C's 1.6 goes fine with ammx mods, yes im sure i have installed all visual c++ ses, like all from 2005 to 2022 and net.framework too latest versions. As i told maybe its because my shortened windows version missing some dll or something. ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯.thank u for helping man, hope we will solve this problem

Man, i switched my operational system to another windows 10. And it worked yes it's launching now!!! But when i start new game with bots its instantly crashes
